Year after year MCWA exceeds all drinking water standards set by the EPA and the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH). The Monroe County Water Authority joined water utilities, community leaders, educators, elected officials, and businesses across the nation to celebrate the ninth annual Imagine a Day Without Water on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Imagine a Day Without Water is a national education campaign that brings together diverse stakeholders to highlight the vital role water plays in our daily lives.
